WELCOME! Thank you for joining us today in worship, we look forward to having you come again.

Please sign the registration books that are in the pews, and pass them to the next person.

If you are worshipping from home and watching on Facebook please leave a comment (even if it is just Hi), it would be appreciated.

BRINGING HOLY COMMUNION TO YOU If you would prefer to have Holy Communion brought to you in the pew on the weeks it is served – please let the elder/ushers know prior to the service. We would not want to miss you!

FELLOWSHIP TIME Please join us in the Hillmer Center following the service today for fellowship time. Following the fellowship time will be time to ask questions of Mike and Cade.

ROOF RELACEMENT    This was about $23,000.  The roof has been replaced, the bill has been paid. We did get most of the money from members, but we are needing $8,000 to pay back the Endowment Board.  If you would like to contribute to this, write roof replacement on your check and it will be put in the correct spot.

GUEST SPEAKER Everyone is invited to hear Dr. Zach Wilson speak on Health and Human Potential from a Christian Perspective this Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church. He will be unpacking how remarkably God has created the human body, it’s organization, and how it is designed to be a self-healing organism. His goal is for all who attend to walk away with a greater appreciation for the body God has given you and where to look first for healing.

A LIFE QUOTE “If we expect to be the one to change hearts by sowing seeds of judgment rather than love, we are changing the mission we have been sent to fulfill. Please use your Gospel-motivated voice For Life in love and may God bless your efforts!” Virginia Flo, Lutherans For Life – A Life Quote from Lutherans For Life • lutheransforlife.org

BUILDING HEALTHY FAMILIES   So often we slip into the habit of living for the approval of others, which leads to frustration, disillusionment, and disappointment in life and relationships. Jesus was aware of this risk and reminds us In Matthew 6 not to do things for the approval of men. He assures us that our Father who sees and knows us inside out is the One who can and will meet all our needs, including our need to be seen, recognized, valued and loved. Whew! What a relief! Life begins to look different (and oh so much better) when we look through eyes of faith to our loving, gracious, living and forgiving God. Fix your eyes on Jesus - not your boss, co-worker, spouse, child or neighbor - and live in the light of His great love this week! MEMORY VERSE CHALLENGE - This week the verse

1 Corinthians 1:18

For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Giving can be setup with either a credit card or your bank account.  You can create an account that will remember your information for future use. This is a very secure site so you can setup giving with confidence that your information will be safe. You can also setup giving using an app on a cell phone. Just search for Vanco in your App Store.  Using this you will need to create an account with your information to allow the app to communicate with Vanco.

Luke 10:25 – “And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, ‘Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?’” Talk about the wrong question! You can’t do anything to inherit something. It’s either yours by birth, or you are not in the family and there’s nothing you can do to inherit it. We are part of the family through Baptism. We don’t have to buy our way into the kingdom. We are brought in by the precious Blood of Christ. Our good works are not the purchase price of the kingdom.  They are simply what the children of the Father want to do in thanksgiving to Him.
